The new album is in its way to market very sooooon

Hi everyone, we went through a new project in October 2005. We were preparing for the "7th International Oud Festival" in Tatouan, Morocco. We were trying to participate in this festival and present the Oud in a new band sound.

We mixed the Oud with Piano, Bass and percussions. The experiment went to the extreme. People liked what we've done. When we got back to Beirut we thought of recording the project. We recorded the project in Dec. 2005 with an addition: The Drums.

The musicians put all their energy and experience in this project. They worked very hard to rearrange all the pieces. A new sound born. It is a fusion of Oriental melodies with Afro-Cuban, Flamenco and Funk rhythms and Background.

The musicians are my friends: Jean Madani on Bass, Tarek Yamani on Keyboard, Khaled Yassine on Percussions and Fouad Afra on Drums. We recorded the project in Forward Production Studio, Beirut. The sound engineer was Ghazi AbdelBaki.
We named the project "Beyond Traditions" and it is an Incognito production.

It will be in Market at the end of February.

I hope you will have the chance to listen to it and exchange with me your feedback.

Staying Alive

I like this country-Lebanon-because inspite of all the political and economical circumstances, we are still producing films, plays, music and other artistic performances.

This was my first album 'Bil Bal' (2003)

Expect my new album 'Beyond Traditions' very soon.
